About Dr. Mark H. Creech,

A Ministry of Faith, Truth, and Courage

For nearly a half-century, Dr. Mark H. Creech has boldly proclaimed the Faith that saves, stood unwavering in the Truth of God’s Word, and displayed remarkable Courage in the face of spiritual, cultural, and political opposition. Whether in the pulpit, the halls of government, or the media, his mission has remained steadfast – to call the Church and the nation to redemption and righteousness.

FAITH: A Life Devoted to Christ and His Church

Dr. Creech’s journey in ministry began with his conversion to Christ, his baptism, and his discipleship in a Free Will Baptist Church. Responding to the call to preach, he was licensed and ordained to the Gospel ministry in 1980, beginning a path of pastoral service for two decades.

He pastored six churches across North Carolina and New York, leading them in spiritual growth, mission expansion, and community outreach. His passion for biblical teaching led him to serve as Academic Dean and New Testament Instructor at Faith Emmanuel Bible Institute, equipping believers with a deeper understanding of Scripture.

His faith has never been confined to the church’s walls – it has been the foundation of everything he has done in public life.

TRUTH: A Bold Voice in the Public Square

For 25 years, Dr. Creech defended biblical truth in government as the Executive Director and Lobbyist for the Christian Action League of North Carolina. In the North Carolina General Assembly, he stood for the sanctity of life, religious liberty, traditional marriage, and many other moral values – fighting for policies aligned with biblical principles and opposing legislation eroding our great state and nation’s spiritual and ethical fabric.

His truth-telling ministry extends beyond the legislative chamber into Media and publishing. Once an Editorial Board Member for The Christian Post, his voice has reached national and international audiences, offering Christian perspectives on our time’s most pressing social issues. His editorials have been featured nationally in OneNewsNow, WorldNetDaily, RenewAmerica, and the Intellectual Conservative. Dr. Creech’s advocacy has been quoted in major newspapers such as USA Today and the New York Times. Statewide, his editorials have been printed in the Raleigh News and Observer, The Winston-Salem Journal, the Charlotte News and Observer, and the Asheville Citizen-Times.

But speaking the truth comes with its challenges.

COURAGE: Standing Firm Despite the Opposition

In August 2024, after years of financial struggles, the 80-year-old public policy organization The Christian Action League was dissolved. This was a crushing blow to the mission into which Dr. Creech had poured his entire life. Many would have retreated, completely despaired, walked away, and given up. Although Dr. Creech was heartbroken and mourned the League’s passing deeply, he pressed on with courage.

Shortly after the League’s dissolution, Return America, a powerful grassroots organization in North Carolina, invited him to become their first full-time lobbyist and legislative liaison. The organization, led by Dr. Ron Baity, has a proven record of mobilizing thousands in rallies at the Halifax Mall and the State Capitol and winning a historic lawsuit against unconstitutional restrictions on churches during COVID-19.

Through Return America, Dr. Creech continues the fight for faith and freedom, ensuring that Christians’ voices are heard in government and public policy. Through the years, Dr. Creech often told audiences that featured him as a guest speaker, “If you consider yourself a conservative evangelical, then I’m your lobbyist, representing your Christian values every day North Carolina lawmakers are in session.” Today, the ministry continues with Return America.

A Legacy of Faithfulness

Dr. Creech’s unwavering stand for biblical faith, absolute truth, and moral courage has been recognized with numerous awards, including:

Salt and Light Award for Outstanding Pastor in America (Awarded by the late Dr. D. James Kennedy, Reclaiming America for Christ, 1999)

Legion of Honor Award (Chapel of Four Chaplains, 2002)

Heritage Award (Presented by the late Congressman Walter B. Jones, 2005)

Distinguished Leadership Award (American Council on Alcohol Problems, 2014)

Despite the challenges and opposition, he remains unfaltering, believing that as long as God gives him the strength, he will continue to fight the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12). He says he plans never to retire, God willing.

Faith. Truth. Courage.

These are not just words but the defining marks of Dr. Creech’s long and distinguished ministry. Whether through preaching, writing, or legislative work, his mission is to stand boldly for Christ and call the Church to faithfulness in a world becoming increasingly hostile to biblical truth.
Dr. Creech remains committed to serving Christ, His Church, and the principles that make America great.
